As a seasoned master wedding planner, Jenn Ball has orchestrated countless events across the Carolinas and Caribbean, specializing in both local and destination weddings, as well as crafting unforgettable honeymoon travel experiences.

Jenn: “My journey in the event industry began in late 90’s: planning corporate events and special promotions. However, it was the past 20 years that saw a dedicated focus on creating magical weddings. With a portfolio boasting nearly 400 solo weddings, along with collaborative efforts as an assistant or additional staff member with various event companies, I have honed my skills to (can I say it?) phenomenal and magical.”

The inspiration behind Knot Your Average Events stems from a personal experience. My own wedding, orchestrated by my mom and her best friend, taught me the importance of specialized coordination. Their attempt to play multiple roles led to missed moments during my first dance and cake cutting. This pivotal experience ignited a vow to ensure no other mother misses those cherished moments on their daughter’s special day.

We pride ourselves on crafting unique, memorable experiences by infusing personal touches and meticulously attending to every detail. Our expertise includes intimate gatherings of 23 guests to grand celebrations exceeding 1,200 attendees. We’ve traversed both near and far, managing every aspect from the declaration of “I DO” to the triumphant “I DID!”
