We had a great experience here shopping for prom dresses. Beautiful selection and very helpful staff. I did not expect to have a lot of personal attention since we were not looking at bridal. But the staff was super attentive and helpful-greatly appreciate having alterations available.They also have lovely accessories. Recommend!

This was my first time trying on bridal gowns and I ended up leaving with my wedding dress!! The details on the dress are amazing and I cannot wait to wear it on my day. The staff were so kind, easy to work with, and I felt so special and important when trying on all the different dresses. Lauren helped me feel at ease when making such a big decision. I booked an appointment for a Saturday with 1 person with me. I heard and read great things about the service. While I was booking the appointment it was stressed to only have that one other person with me. Got it and fully understood. When I showed up, the place felt overrun by larger groups and lots of kids. The space to actually look at the dresses is very tight. Having any more than 1-2 people in the aisles is hard, which I couldn’t understand why for a place that required appointments would have that many people in them. I understand its consignment and the experience is different. However you constantly feel like you’re in the way of other people, and waiting to squeeze by, all while being reminded you have only 90 minutes. The stylist asked me what I was looking for. I described a few things and then was pointed in the direction of the racks and told to hang the ones I picked on some racks above the dresses. She gave me the price breakdown and that was that. At no point did an employee discuss or show me anything, or even offer to help me try on anything. It felt like a free for all. Which is fine- but given the appointment and what I read/expected based on the phone call booking the appointment was very different than what I experienced. I did overhear another stylist giving some more direction and support to her client. They had a decent selection of dresses but the service, experience in the store and just lack of any direction was tough for me. If you’re looking for a deal, it may be worth a shot. But I wish I had a better idea of what it was going to be like to better prepare myself.

I came to this place a couple of times looking for a wedding dress in a reasonable price. To my surprise, I found a dress of my dreams for a steal deal. My only concern was the inside of the dress was super dirty. At this time I didn’t realize that the buttons at the end of the long train was also a little dirty. I was just so happy that I found a dress that fit with my wedding being three months away. I was super happy, I was allowed to dress to sit on layaway due to me having limited amount of space in my home. However, two days prior to my wedding I picked up my dress. Of course I had intentions of picking it up sooner however, have some last-minute emergency appear. But I did go the Thursday, before my wedding and I picked up my dress. After trying on my dress, I noticed a couple of buttons at the end of the train were dirty, and the owner was unavailable. They staff recommended I give the shop a call the next day when she will available. Again, I will acknowledge that the interior part of the dress near the bosoms was very dirty and she did clean it. However, when I called and the owner answer the phone, I asked her if she would be able to touch up the buttons on my dress due to them being a little gray, and my dress was ivory color. She declined saying all she uses some seventh generation that I can buy at target. She states she mixes that with water and sprays it on the dress and just dabs it and that’s how she’s able to get stains out. I’ve then proceeded to tell her. I did not feel comfortable doing it on my own and prefer one of her caliber do it for me. She then declined and said it was super simple and encourage me to do it on my own. I did ask again if she was available to do it that day and she said she did not know if she would have time to do it that day, but if I brought it by she would see what she could do. By it being the day before my wedding I do not wanna take any chances. I know that this is a small detail, but I didn’t want my pictures to be affected. I just decided to just leave the dress as is and hope that when I get my pictures back next week that this small detail will not be noticed. Again, overall I was happy with my purchase, but I just wasn’t happy with the follow up customer service. I spent eleven hundred dollars on a dress I would’ve just like a little bit more understanding and better customer service. At this current time I’m not sure if I will shop here again, but I hope no one else has this problem.

My first time having a bridal appointment (anywhere) and Bridget was super helpful, kind and accommodating. This was a last minute appointment request, but the response was FAST! It’s a great shop with a great deal of options and new items arriving consistently. I would highly recommend this store.

I was prepared to go to traditional bridal stores when my electrologist suggested Songbirds. I went in not knowing what to expect but left with my dream dress (details were amazing)! It was on the mannequin and I had to have it. Passion was my consultant and she was the best. My dress and veil (plus tax) came to just under $1000 but that’s a great deal for what I got, and would be much more somewhere else. I would definitely recommend this store to others.

What an amazing experience! I am recently engaged and went to Songbirds with my mom and best friend to try on dresses. Their selection is incredible, the vibes are great, and the prices are so affordable for the quality of the gowns. We are budget - conscious and did not want to spend $1,000+ on a wedding gown, and we found my dream one here for $300. The stylists are so friendly, helpful, and supportive. I am a recent Songbirds success story, though I did my dress shopping back in the summer of 2022. Their selection was my favorite by far and the pricing was the best for value that I saw in any bridal shop I entered that year. The day I went in, I left with a dress, a veil, and bridal jewelry all for around $500 total. I wore them very happily on my wedding day, 5/27/2023, and am so grateful there was someone who was able to keep me on budget while making me feel utterly beautiful on my big day. There's no picture, but they also dressed my mother in law perfectly on short notice as she had trouble finding a good outfit for the ceremony. Take your business here!

If you're on the fence about this place. Check it out, really. Do it! I found my absolute dream dress and veil from here and spent way less than any boutique place. Being a plus-size girl, they had a bunch of options for me to choose from, and it was amazing! Never once did I feel like I was being shunned for my size, unlike other places. I still can't believe I saved so much money on my entire day! My mom and sister both found outfits as well, which was a huge plus! They have formal gowns, jumpsuits, everyday clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. Seriously. Check them out!

Was shopping with my sister-in-law who is a die-hard Songbirds fan. It's difficult for me to find casual clothing there but they have an abundance of jewelry and purses that are beautiful. They also have a huge selection of "fascinators" (the English hats). We bought 6 of them to add to our collection! If you're looking for a good deal on a wedding gown or a dress for a special occasion this is the place to visit!

Songbirds Consignment saved the day! I am competing in a National pageant in 2 weeks and there are problems with my custom evening gown. I purchased two stunning gowns off the rack from Songbirds that will be going with me. Both gowns together are less than 5% of the price for the custom!

We called a month ahead of time with our price range and size. They made it sound like they had so many for me to choice from and our price range. Well we get there and they have 2 plus size dresses in my price range! So disappointed! Their dresses started at $799....David's bridal is cheaper and prettier. Don't waste your time if your plus size and on a budget.

Food always good & people always friendly

I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews, but was sadly disappointed. Shopped for a short dress for a school dance, very little to choose from and we walked away empty handed. It did look like they had a better selection in the bridal department. I would give the shop another try, but I would not make the 2 hour drive just for it again.

I was desperately searching for a new wedding dress 3 weeks before my wedding after an alterations mishap. I found Songbird through a Google search and am so glad I did. They had a great selection of dresses in all sizes. Everyone was friendly and made the stressful shopping experience easy. All of the dresses were affordable and since it was my second dress, I was extremely relieved to walk out with a dress I loved that didn’t break the bank!

I highly recommend Songbirds for bridal / wedding dresses, formal & consignments in general! We visited from Richmond, VA in summer 2022 in search of a wedding dress and we got an amazing deal! Absolutely a must! They have so many options. All gowns are new with tags. I didn't get my dress here but I would've if we weren't traveling. The sale room has such amazing dresses for 150$ I did get some beautiful accessories. The associates were friendly and not pushy.

I CANNOT say enough nice things about songbirds and the staff! I was in town for a wedding and had time to kill so I figured dress shopping for my own wedding would be perfect! I didn’t have an appointment but the ladies squeezed me in knowing I was from out of town and I’m so glad they did because I said YES to the dress! It was fate! Fantastic people and amazing prices! Got a brand new wedding dress for my daughter that was only $487 plus tax. Couldn't find anything like it at David's bridal for under 1500.00! Will recommend this store to friends and family!
