We had a great experience with Maria doing our wedding. She went well beyond expectation in every moment. We most enjoyed Maria's exuberant personality. While we could trust most photographers to take a great picture,we chose Marie because it was clear from her portfolio she could get the candid shots we wanted. When we saw the results we weren't disappointed. Not only did we get all the posed shots we wanted, she was amazing at improvising in the moment, because let's face it, things don't always go as planned. We were also impressed that we got photos we didn't even know she was there to take. It's like she was easy to find when you needed her, but invisible when it was time to be with your family. She got the photos while not invading these moments. For us, that was truly amazing. She was great at making sure you got all the photos you wanted, family, sunset, photos out on the town, etc.

Maria was FANTASTIC!!! We were so thrilled to have her photograph our wedding. She took the time to get to know what was important to us with regard to photographs. She did anything to get the shot, including climbing on our car (with permission) when our family was too wide to get in the frame. Our pictures came out better than we could have even imagined. We got all the pictures we wanted and then some. Maria made sure to include all the people that mean the most to us and made for an amazing group of pictures to be able to use for a book. There are photos that we saw in the portfolio that we didn't even know were taken. Maria was amazing at being there to get the shots that we wanted but also being invisible when we were spending time with our family/guests. It really was the best experience having her as our photographer.

She was great!! We loved having her as part of our day. They snuck around all night getting pictures of moments we didn't even realize they captured until we saw the pictures afterwards. The communication was also great throughout the whole process.

We hired Maria as our engagement and wedding photographer (wedding day- March 2021). She is an extremely personable and creative person, and she made us feel very comfortable during our engagement and wedding photos. The photos turned out beautiful - I would say her style of photography is very classic. The only reason I have given her 4/5 stars is due to organization and communication. We paid $450 for an engagement session that included save the dates, which really sold us. However, we found out afterwards that it did not include any other photos (digital or print)- they had to be purchased separately. To get all the photos (about 30) would have been around $1700, as she only offers printed photos (no option to just get the digitals). She did give us a discount for the miscommunication, but we still only got 6 photos printed from the whole session (that was $250, no digitals to post). There were some really beautiful shots I would have loved to post and keep in my home, we just couldn't justify the cost. All in all, she has definitely earned her title "Munchkin on a Mission" - her spunkiness kept the bridal party in line on the wedding day (we didn't have a second shooter!), and despite the miscommunication, I must say there can't be another photographer who would have jumped in the cold Belews Lake to get an awesome photo of us on the exit boat. pictured below: 3/6 printed engagement photos // photo from wedding day, taken my Maria from the water

We loved having Maria as our photographer! She is a one woman machine. Our bridal party was completed with 16 people, and she was able to nail every single photo.
