- So, I saw this hotel had over 5 stars, so I decided to stay here for the night. As I started to check in my room, I began to check everything like I normally do. To make sure there's no bugs, clean bed, etc. I found the bed skirt had Come stains on it, including still had the actual seed. I will put picture on if it allows. Got transferred to next room. You can feel the difference in this room, but then I ended up getting back pains from the bed being extremely hard. This was the second room. At least everything else checked out. I'm here for one night this time, but in a month or two, I'll be coming back for about 3 to 6 months. But I Def won't be staying in this placeread moreread less

They either kick you out after one night even if you booked more than one night. Also if you check in early they will cancel your reservation that night so you won’t have a place to sleep. The front desk staff - especially Lex and Stephanie - were professional and always ready to answer questions or provide assistance as needed. Great pre-flight hotel We stayed here before our flight to New York City. The hotel staff was fantastic including the shuttle drivers. It was in a safe, semi-secluded location and I felt safe leaving my vehicle there for 2 weeks while I was gone. The room was fine as well. We'll definitely stay here again.read moreread less

Late night arrival bidness stay Easy online reservation, arrived after midnight from long international flight. Room was ready when I arrived, welcome packet of water and snacks much appreciated! Room was roomy, clean and quiet. Breakfast was typical of this class of hotel…please bring back real plates and stainless…I was spoiled at my hotel in Izmir…shuttle to Airport was an Uber arranged by front desk…when I asked if the airport had many amenities and was advised not, front desk team extended my departure/check out gratis! Hamptonality X 10 I'm a hard one to win over regarding "stays." The Hamptonality (kindness, professionalism, and overall experience) was exceptional. After being at the Airport for more than 12 hours with continuous flight delays, my flight finally got canceled. I booked this hotel because it looked good enough for a night's stay, plus free airport transportation, and they offer breakfast in the morning. They didn't have a driver for the shuttle, yet they offered me a complimentary Lyft to the hotel (IMPRESSIVE). They're honoring their word on airport transportation. The Lyft arrived, and the license plate didn't match, yet the driver knew my name. For security reasons, I didn't feel comfortable getting in that Lyft. I called Hampton directly and talked to Stephanie, the Assistant Manager, who didn't think twice about rebooking me another Lyft. She expressed how safety is their priority. She never made it seem like the call or rebooking was inconvenient. When I arrived at the hotel, Stephanie, with a great big authentic smile, said, "You must be Mr. Gallik." She quickly checked me in, and I had a fantastic night's sleep. I woke up and had breakfast, the buffet had many options. My point to all of this is that this hotel is better than just a "night's stay." I could easily stay at this hotel without any issues for a week. Oh, and the Ruby Tuesday's is within walking distance to the hotel. That was a nice little bonus. In closing, we all know how the world has become less resilient, and at times, it's harder to find authenticity and kindness among people, including staff in different establishments. After walking up the stairs with my bags and food noticed an employee holding the elevators to mop the area to get on the elevators. This is an inconvenience to the people staying there. I met one member of housekeeping and she was pleasant. My bed was comfortable; perfect after a long day of travel and late night volleyball games.Breakfast was A M A Z I N G! Lots of healthy, delicious options. Self serve coffee was hot and tasted great! I understand it’s merely a Hampton Inn, but at the very least they could have thanked me for my previous business. I was instantly reminded why I had moved my business travel to Marriott during check in but on this trip I was with a group of friends on personal travel and this is where they chose. My room had a few issues. First off, the AC unit had some sort of mechanical issue. It was so noisy it made it nearly impossible to sleep with it on. Second, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. Third, the doors to the rooms do not close gently, they slam shut all throughout the night. Hampton Inn Done Right Over the last several decades, my wife and I have stayed in Hampton Inns all over the US from Key West to Seattle, Portland Maine to San Diego. Of all we have had occasion to use, this one is among the very best. The facility is clean. The staff seems competent and proficient in this jobs--from the registration desk to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. Without fail, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They genuinely seemed to like their jobs. By Hampton Inn standards, the breakfast was outstanding. The only downside was a bit of I-40 noise at times, but this was not problematic with air conditioner fan white noise. I suggest you specifically ask for a room on the opposite side of the building from the interstate.read moreread less

Then the next day, the staff gave someone else a key to my new room and TWO more people walked in on me!!! One of them being at midnight! The staff did NOT care about this unsafe situation. The manager begged me to remove my previous review and promised to add extra Honors points. This did NOT happen and now he is ignoring all my calls/voicemails. Breakfast was a typical Hampton Inn breakfast full waffle station, eggs daily with a meat, yogurt, cereal, among other choices. Each morning I went downstairs I was welcomed with smiles from the staff and a good morning. We used the pool also, which towels were provided outside and the pool was clean. The hotel was sold out almost every day we were there yet it was clean, and there was plenty of parking. The ladies at the front desk were always super helpful and polite. The door was closed. I was afraid they had locked me in. I asked could I get something right quick as I get out. They said we're closed. I was allowed to get a cup of orange juice. An employee, Ms Josie, saw I was talking with the lady at the front desk about it. Like a super hero she opened the door, walked in the area, and fixed me a plate. Tim C.7/08/2024- The friendliness off the staff is second to absolutely none! The rooms were clean and big enough for my twin sons, husband & me. And breakfast options kept everyone happy, I can't even do that at home. The first time we stayed at this location was because I had a friend in town from the west coast & it was easier to stay in Greensboro, than drive from Fayetteville to see her daily. My husband works in Greensboro though, a few minutes away, so it worked out amazing to be there. That said we scheduled another trip & I booked the wrong type of room & they were accommodating enough to fix it a few hours before our arrival. If you have to be in Greensboro & need a place to stay with friendly staff, this is your only choice!read moreread less

Dwayne M.6/18/2024- We were denied service after traveling 10 hours with my Service Dog (seizure alert) by the Desk Clerk who wasn’t wearing a name badge. He stated that he needed to see credentials for my Service Dog and then tried to charge a “pet fee” for him. We refused to accept that and told him he was violating ADA Regulations. Their policy clearly states that Service animals are exempt from any fees. When we got upset, he told us he was REFUSING SERVICE TO US! We were DISCRIMINATED AGAINST because of my Seizure Alert Service dog. This location also accepts pets! This has been reported to ADA, Hilton and the General Manager, Ryan Sims. Still NOTHING has been done to rectify this situation! Not worth staying here! They’re rude and in unaccepting of people with Disabilities! BEWAREread moreread less

I believe the managers name was Stephanie (I should've wrote this review sooner)...not only did she SAVE my entire day but she made my trio so much better.
