- I had a very average experience at this property. Check in was quick, but they did not even acknowledge my elite status. I understand it’s merely a Hampton Inn, but at the very least they could have thanked me for my previous business. I was instantly reminded why I had moved my business travel to Marriott during check in but on this trip I was with a group of friends on personal travel and this is where they chose. My room had a few issues. First off, the AC unit had some sort of mechanical issue. It was so noisy it made it nearly impossible to sleep with it on. Second, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. Third, the doors to the rooms do not close gently, they slam shut all throughout the night. - Hampton Inn Done Right Over the last several decades, my wife and I have stayed in Hampton Inns all over the US from Key West to Seattle, Portland Maine to San Diego. Of all we have had occasion to use, this one is among the very best. The facility is clean. The staff seems competent and proficient in this jobs--from the registration desk to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. Without fail, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They genuinely seemed to like their jobs. By Hampton Inn standards, the breakfast was outstanding. The only downside was a bit of I-40 noise at times, but this was not problematic with air conditioner fan white noise. - EXTREMELY UNSAFE!! BEWARE!! Staff gave me a key to someone else’s room, so I walked in on them! Then the next day, the staff gave someone else a key to my new room and TWO more people walked in on me!!! One of them being at midnight! The staff did NOT care about this unsafe situation. The manager begged me to remove my previous review and promised to add extra Honors points. This did NOT happen and now he is ignoring all my calls/voicemails. - The hotel is nice, though the powdery smell is a bit overwhelming on the first floor. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, and clean. Contactless check-in and key on the app didn't work the 4 days we were there. The body wash provided in the shower ran out on our 2nd day. - Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 6 nights. Rooms were quiet though we were so close to the airport. Breakfast was a typical Hampton Inn breakfast full waffle station, eggs daily with a meat, yogurt, cereal, among other choices. Each morning I went downstairs I was welcomed with smiles from the staff and a good morning. We used the pool also, which towels were provided outside and the pool was clean. The hotel was sold out almost every day we were there yet it was clean, and there was plenty of parking. The ladies at the front desk were always super helpful and polite. - Saturday morning 7/24 I was standing in the area to get breakfast at 2 minutes before 10am. The two members serving breakfast that morning walked in and said "we are closed". The door was closed. I was afraid they had locked me in. I asked could I get something right quick as I get out. They said we're closed. I was allowed to get a cup of orange juice. An employee, Ms Josie, saw I was talking with the lady at the front desk about it. Like a super hero she opened the door, walked in the area, and fixed me a plate. - Clean with friendly staff Staff wonderful and clean room. The wifi was down but our stay was short so that wasn't a big issue. Our room did have a noisy air conditioner. Had good water pressure, and the room was clean. ||However, when I went down with American, United States Dollars, they would not accept cash for a bag of chips. I had to either put it on my room and risk getting fired, or I could give them my personal account numbers for a credit card. (My company card covers the room, and would still get me fired.) - The friendliness off the staff is second to absolutely none! The rooms were clean and big enough for my twin sons, husband & me. And breakfast options kept everyone happy, I can't even do that at home. The first time we stayed at this location was because I had a friend in town from the west coast & it was easier to stay in Greensboro, than drive from Fayetteville to see her daily. My husband works in Greensboro though, a few minutes away, so it worked out amazing to be there. That said we scheduled another trip & I booked the wrong type of room & they were accommodating enough to fix it a few hours before our arrival. - We were denied service after traveling 10 hours with my Service Dog (seizure alert) by the Desk Clerk who wasn’t wearing a name badge. He stated that he needed to see credentials for my Service Dog and then tried to charge a “pet fee” for him. We refused to accept that and told him he was violating ADA Regulations. Their policy clearly states that Service animals are exempt from any fees. When we got upset, he told us he was REFUSING SERVICE TO US! We were DISCRIMINATED AGAINST because of my Seizure Alert Service dog. This location also accepts pets! This has been reported to ADA, Hilton and the General Manager, Ryan Sims. - We stayed here in May for a family wedding. Only 10 minutes from the airport and a very welcoming, professional staff that greated us upon arriving letting us know about the amenities the hotel offers. The room was clean and comfortable. - I came to Greensboro on May 11th for my sister's college graduation. We drove down from NY and when I found out there was an issue with the room I was devastated. I believe the managers name was Stephanie (I should've wrote this review sooner)...not only did she SAVE my entire day but she made my trio so much better. Thank you for your kindnesses and all of your help. We didn't didnt to check out the pool but breakfast was great and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. - Not a Hilton level location. You have to request service of your room or else they won't clean your room. Breakfast is bare minimum. Digital Key system isn't available in this location even though it will prompt you to "wait for a moment as digital key is being generated. - Booking mix-up, but excellent customer service saved the dayThere was some kind of disconnect with our online reservation at the Hampton Inn, but the receptionist went above and beyond to fix the problem and get us settled in two rooms. The breakfast was also really good. The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the eggs (but hey, I'm spoiled with fresh eggs at home!). I did learn hotels (at least the staff) are not fans of the online discount sites and gave us a tip. Most of the time you can get the same deal by calling the hotel. Not online. - This our stop for the night it’s close enough to the airport that one that fly’s in can speed the night with us. Or if you want to pick them up in the morning on your way back on the road. We all love the rooms which are Clean, friendly staff and we love the breakfast bar that’s included! Plus get a good nights sleep no loud noises. - I've been a Hilton honors member since November 8th, 2002. The check in at this location was great. The room was okay. The bed is hard as a rock. But the checkout is awful. I wanted to put it on my company debit card.
