What They're Saying...
- What a hidden gem about 20 minutes northeast of Greensboro! This will be a spot we will hit over and over on a beautiful sunny day or pleasant evening. Driving on 150 heading east on a quiet and winding road from north Greensboro, you wouldn’t expect a little oasis hidden out here. This winery has it all. You are greeted by the friendliest staff as soon as you walk in. Taste a few while you are given great details and insight about the wines and the winery itself, including the unique history of this establishment. I won’t spoil the details, as this adds to the pleasant experience. Grab a few glasses of wine, or a bottle, along with some tasty snacks and head to the backyard oasis. Shade and sunny areas throughout. A stage with live music on weekends just adds to the perfect day. A small lake compliments the picturesque scenery surrounding this little establishment. Need to give a shout out to Taylor for his amazing performance encompassing an eclectic variety of genres. From Creedance Clearwater Revival to Bob Marley, and every type of popular band and singer from the 70s to today, thank you!read moreread lessTom R.3/20/2024
- Amazing winery, incredible owners and friendly staff. My family had an amazing time at their fall event and look forward to visiting again. There was plenty of room to let kids run around (while within eyesight), and it was beautiful. 100% worth the (gorgeous) drive there. I also highly recommend the chardonnay.read moreread lessDorothy H.12/03/2023
- Went to an event with my husband.. noticed a LOT of sediment in my glass.. it was a reserved , so it was expensive and I requested a cheaper glass of wine without a refund.. so I payed $9 for a $6 glass.. and was still rudely told it "was impossible there was sediment" ok..read moreread lessEdythe S.11/17/2023
- Peaceful, lovely winery. Delicious, different wines. This is a quiet, lovely vineyard! We stopped in after a day of hiking and it was so peaceful. The tasting was definitely worth it as the wines are so different from what we expected. We are not usually fans of Chardonnay but both my husband and I both loved their creation! The server was very friendly and helpful in describing all of the wines. The grounds are beautiful and we loved that it was so quiet. We sat on the dock by the water and enjoyed a peaceful afternoon. We would definitely come back!read moreread lessklgwhite8/23/2023
- Everytime we go there is something new!! They now have a HUGE PAVILION & a deck over the pond. Had the tasting, got to taste 6 wines. So good. Bought some cheese (excellent) and some garlic bagel chips (yummy) and a bottle of wine and enjoyed the pavilion. Nice breeze what a wonderful day. Will go back often. They now have line dancing in Wednesdays. Fun placeread moreread lessRobin R.8/17/2023
- We attended a recent event here and it was beautiful. I am not a fan of wine but they were able to recommend one for me that I ended up buying a bottle of. I've lived in the area most of my life and regret not visiting sooner. Go get a glass of wine and sit by the pond.read moreread lessDerek P.6/17/2023
- Harvest Host experience We stayed at Groves Vineyards and Winery through the Harvest Host program. Beautiful area. Did a wine tasting with Yvette who was a delight. Stayed for the Line Dancing event and had great conversation with some of the participants. Will definitely visit again when in that area.read moreread lessLynn6/08/2023
- Just wondering if you allow dogs on a leash inside your tasting room. We were stopped at the door on Monday the 4th by two ladies saying they're allergic to dogs and can not come in. We were there two weekends ago and really enjoyed the wine and friendly atmosphere, inside with are two dogs. (Just wondering why we had to leave and they sit inside drinking)read moreread lessnick g.12/17/2022
- Award-winning wines Okay, this winery is a little out of the way but worth it for their unique and award-winning wines. We were looking for attractions near our Inn in Gibsonville and plugged in their address into our GPS. We are familiar with some of the Yadkin Valley wineries but have never been to one in this part of NC before. My wife and I did tastings and chatted with the server (perhaps a co-owner as well?). We were pleasantly surprised that they had won so many awards. We enjoyed the wines and bought three bottles to take with us. I don't recall seeing their wines in our local wine shops but will keep an eye out for them.read moreread lessTarHeel9/26/2021
