My daughters and I recently visited Greensboro for the weekend. The hotel is impressive. They chose a balcony room and it is NOT as pictured. I'll let the pictures speak the rest - it was truly disappointing. My suggestion: don't waste the extra money on this type of room unless you plan on using the balcony one person at a time. Save the extra for breakfast. Else wise, the food served is quite good! It's across the street from the airport and the room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful entrance as well.

Airport Hotel Bottom line….if you need an airport hotel room it’s ok. Food is not acceptable and staff is far from friendly, However it’s the only hotel within walking distance to the terminal. All other hotels are a 10 minute shuttle bus ride away ie: Hilton .

Alvia purported herself to be the manager here. This person was agressive and very rude with us at check in.We tried to call to report the incident but the same woman took the call. We have never experienced such an unprofessional staff at a Marriott.The front desk staff was kind and helpful and apologetic for the poor behavior but it was not their place to apologize for their supervisor.Our room was clean and we were thankful to be close to the airport after the snowstorms. So there’s that.Hope you have a better experience.

This is not a roadside motel — this is supposed to be a Marriott-branded property. Basic cleanliness and maintenance are clearly not a priority for ownership or management here.||It got worse.||Despite being a Bonvoy member, when I tried to connect to the internet, I was presented with only two paid options — no free option whatsoever. This felt deceptive and intentionally misleading, especially for a brand that constantly markets “member benefits.” If free Wi-Fi is no longer included, then be honest about it. Don’t bait guests into charges.||When I called the front desk to dispute the internet charge, I was told someone would “follow up.”|No one ever did.|No call back. No resolution. No accountability.

Service, Food & Style That Wow! **Review for Marriott Greensboro High Point Airport – NAMI Conference Stay (Nov 7–8, 2025) Our experience at the Marriott Greensboro High Point Airport during the NAMI Conference was absolutely outstanding. Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. **Service:** The servers in the Grand Ballroom, and I asked their names - Zewdi, Maria, Leila, Devron, and Patricia—were phenomenal. They were unbelievably polite, accommodating, and attentive. They struck the perfect balance of being available when needed and discreet when not. They scanned the tables constantly, clearing empty plates without us even asking. Their professionalism and courtesy truly elevated the entire event. **Food:** The food was genuinely delicious—something I rarely say about hotel dining. Every meal was flavorful and well-prepared, far above the usual standard. It was a pleasant surprise and a highlight of our stay. **Rooms & Atmosphere:** The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and very contemporary in design. The furniture and walls throughout the hotel reflect a modern, stylish aesthetic. The solid flooring (no carpet) gave the space a fresh, odor-free feel, and the décor was clean and inviting. Everything about the room contributed to a comfortable and relaxing stay. **Staff & Environment:** Beyond the ballroom servers, every employee we encountered was polite, smiling, and welcoming. Fantastic Service!!! Donna and Hope were so sweet!!!! TThey really helped me out with my personal dietary needs. They brought me the item I requested to the table I was sitting at. They next day I looked for one of them to make the same request and she said "I have already put the order in and I will bring it to you. Are you sitting in the same location as yesterday?" You just can't get this type of service anywhere any more. FANTASTIC. It made me feel so special !!!

Great place to stay for a couple of nights once again. Had a late check-in, and the airline lost my luggage. The front desk came to my rescue with a toiletry kit. Have an easy, quick shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Nice executive lounge with yummy breakfast. Had a nice junior suite with a balcony looking at the runway. The room is quiet and comfortable, and you have daily room cleaning, which I like. Nice pool area and small workout room. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the facility.

The pool was closed because somone had a accident. Very sad because my daughter's dad is leaving tomorrow and wont see her til Thanksgiving.

Friendly, clean, quiet, comfortable! Shuttle is easy and fast from the terminal. Easy friendly check-in, trated to nice suite. Daily room cleaning. Nice workout area and pool. On-site restaurant is good too. Nice M club for evening snacks and bite to eat in the morning. This Marriott rings all the bells.

Tina & Ruby The service, professionalism, and hospitality that are provided daily by Tina and Ruby are unmatched. I've stayed for long periods of time for work many times and you are welcomed to a place that feels as close to home as possible when you're away for work. You can count on Ruby to greet you first thing in the morning with breakfast and coffee ready to go. Just as equally, Tina makes sure your fed for the evening before calling it a day. Absolutely satisfied with my stay every time! Thank you Tina and Ruby!!

Top-Notch All the Staff, especially Hope, Tina, and Ruby in the Business Class Lounge provided excellent and friendly service!!! The hotel is conveniently located at the Greensboro Triad Airport. They have a pool, fitness center, business lounge, and restaurant.

Very nice Hotel Courteous, professional front desk. This is very much a hotel, not a motel. Our room’s HVAC unit was not working when we checked in. The hotel’s service engineer arrived promptly and restored service. The room was refreshed at the start of our second day. There is no microwave oven in the room. Breakfast was not provided. Free coffee is not provided in the lobby. There is plenty of safe parking.

Stay Experience Everything was great. Housekeeping could have been better. Menu at the restaurant could have been better. Hours to resturant didnt help with lunch!The front desk ladies were top notch!!! Lots of areas to walk around and sit. Pool was amazing. Fitness area was super clean and nice. Would stay again if I was over this way again.

Great Breakfast Staff Proximity to airport was our priority. This was ideal. The breakfast menu and staff were excellent, especially Christine. We would have appreciated a later breakfast time slot. No lunch was a definite con for this hotel. The dinner menu was limited and service very, very slow 9/9/24. The room was fine, no issues.

The description says "casual" hotel and casual is the keyword here! I personally would caution against staying here as there are many other Marriott choices in the area that offer MORE amenties for a lower rate per night. This is the first Marriott I stayed at where the "wow" wasn't there- the pictures make the rooms look way nicer (and newer). To the hotels credit, the spaces have been renovated, but they are lacking in cleanliness. My pillow had some red stain and oil stains on it which makes me wonder if it had even been laundered. There was also a booger caked onto a towel 🤢. Also, the tub was dirty and had "bits and pieces" of something at the bottom which makes me wonder if the room was just "straightened up" versus cleaned (getting grossed out just writing this). I was also disapponted that with every Marriott property I've stayed in, I had the convenience of free-wifi, breakfast included, and a microwave. At this location, there ARE small mini-fridges (so don't plan on ordering food that will have lots of leftovers or taking lots of food to-go) but no microwaves to warm said food up. Contrary to other properties, WI-FI IS NOT FREE and BEGINS at $12.95. Breakfast is not included but seems to be available through their sit-down restaurant option. I def should have done more research but again, this Marriott is SO VERY DIFFERENT than any othet I've ever stayed in. This location is also far out if you are not traveling for business or have a specific NEED to be by the airport. I would recommend staying somewhere closer to other restsurants/shops along with free wi-fi and breakfast included (there was a Courtyard by Bad Daddy's in a more lively area). I say this knowing that at the end of the day, a hotel is a place to lay your head and at the very basic level, simply shelter while traveling, but not being able to take a relaxing shower because the tub is dirty or being able to connect to wifi (because I don't want to pay $12.95 when it's included at another Marriott three miles from here) or the fact paying $143 for what felt like a REALLY dirty room really took away from the experience. The worse part though was when I called the front desk to speak to the manager (Peter) about my concerns, he placed me on hold for 15 minutes, then told me to "call back when my baby stopped crying" because he "could 't hear me". This was the straw that broke the canel's back for me. He later went upstairs to our room and said he would comp breakfast "if we checked out before 11" and adjust the room rate. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Hopefully this helps someone!

Dear Marriott, thank you for hosting us during our recent trip to Greensboro for the PGA Golf Tournament. After spending our first four nights at the Sheraton Four Seasons, a few of us opted to move closer to the airport for our early morning flight on Monday, August 12. The staff at the Greensboro High-Point Marriott Airport Hotel were professional and very friendly, and the hotel lobby was spotless.While I was initially inclined to give a 5-star rating, I was disappointed to find bugs on the bathroom ceiling and noticeable damage to the bedroom ceiling, which appeared to have been poorly patched over. This was both concerning and disappointing, detracting from an otherwise pleasant stay.

This hotel is right outside of the airport. Anything and everything you need is within 10-15 minutes away! Service was great. The restaurant is a little pricey though!

Stayed here during the Junior Olympics that was being hosted in Greensboro. I was a bit skeptical being that it's LITERALLY located within the airport property (we're talking practically attached to the airport's parking garage!) . . . but honestly, I don't recall hearing a single plane taking off or landing the entire week we were there! The rooms are pretty standard . . . nothing out of the ordinary to note. The indoor / outdoor pool was fun for the kids, however they do close it during "inclement weather" (i.e rain). The location is a bit of a catch twenty-two . . . it's isolated from pretty much EVERYTHING, and therefore quiet and extremely safe . . . however, be prepared to drive a good 10-15mins in order to go ANYWHERE. That being said though, once you do make it out of the airport; there's TONS of things to see & do within a reasonable distance.Shining star award goes to the lady working nonstop at the front desk!! I'm kicking myself for not catching her name, but I can tell you that she doesn't drink coffee; and prefers ginger ale instead! Lol She's an absolute GEM and a true asset to the Marriott family! I don't think there was a single minute of the day I didn't see her onsite multitasking 15 different things at once . . . all while doing so with a positive attitude and a warming smile!If we're ever in the area again, we will DEFINITELY be staying at this location.

I stayed at this hotel the day before my wedding and the day after. I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do for our special day. Avilette ( I may have spelled it wrong) did such wonderful service. She said she can see what she can do for us. On the day of the wedding we came back tired and thirsty. When we were waiting for the elevator, she came out with a tray of champagne and cheese/fruit tray. We were beyond grateful since we already had an exhausting day this was a ray of sunshine. I am so thankful for their service and thank you so much for making our special day special. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anybody who wants exceptional service!!!!!

Great place and customer service

I left a small gold band on the counter, nothing expensive, just sentimental. I know it was there, I thought my husband was grabbing the stuff out of the bathroom And he assumed I was coming back for my ring. I chatted in immediately. Was told the room was cleaned and they’d have to get back to me. No one has and I keep being transferred to the main Marriott number when I call. My fault, yes, but they are the least helpful people on the planet.

Incredible property.The yards are so pretty and manicured.While is an airport hotel the site is pleasant and quiet.There is a restaurant bar open for orders until 10:30 PM .There is Starbucks coffee in the lobby also .4 stars because 5 are reserved for the ones that really stand out for something.4 stars and all earned

Everything is wonderful about this hotel. We've stayed there several times for an annual convention. The only thing I could ever say isn't really great is the food that is served for our banquets. Other than that, everything is fantastic.

I just want to say that I had the best experience during my stay at this Marriott. I was traveling for business and the room was clean and fresh.I spent some time at the bar/restaurant and the bartender I believe she said her name was Sylvie. She was so attentive and made me feel so comfortable. She recommended the salmon which was out of this world (credit to the cook as well) sitting alone at the bar is never comfortable while traveling for work but the bartender made it so welcoming and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this Marriott to my colleagues. Thank you Sylvie. You absolutely enjoy your job
