Wow! What a business. I am so pleased even 7 months after my wedding. When I think back on the night of our wedding, the music was amazing and kept the party going. From the endless questions and many personalization touches, Larry and DJ Marcus exceeded our expectations. This is truly a business who stands by their word. Mr Martin was in constant contact with me and took the time to really get to know our preferences as bride and groom. DJ Marcus came highly recommended from a family friend and he also exceeded every expectation. However, after many phone calls to confirm details, the DJ sent out was quite a disaster. Incorrect songs were played, static played from the speakers throughout the entire ceremony, the songs they played during the reception were not the vibe, & they completely skipped over cocktail hour & announced for the guests to go to the reception table & start getting food.

Larry and the entire staff of A & A were incredible to work with, I knew I wanted to go with then after the initial phone call with Larry. They were a preferred vendor, and had done the wedding of a friend, so I felt comfortable even before looking at reviews. Larry provides more information in the initial phone call than some vendors do over months, and really makes an effort to get to know you and what you're looking for. The questionnaire is extensive, but creates less room for error, and April is also wonderful. She is available for calls and questions and full of helpful hints, and a great resource as part of their package! Craig did a great job on the day and the dance floor stayed packed. They truly deliver a great service, and I would 100% recommend them.

I found A&A DJ through the Knot. They had amazing ratings, so I reached out to Larry. Their pricing was very reasonable and their team walked with us for the entire planning journey. Anytime I had a concern, they were a simple phone call away. Their questionnaire allowed us to design every musical aspect of our wedding. At the event, our DJ, Craig, was a blast! He kept our guests dancing all night and even gave us a CD with all of our special songs. We found out about A & A through The Knot, and we decided to go with them because of Larry's wonderful and informational phone call. We also loved how much they were willing to personalize things for our needs. I was worried about the dance floor being too empty, but when I looked around EVERYONE was on the dance floor. I had never seen such a full dance floor before! They gave us a very in depth sheet to fill out (seriously like 20 pages long), but it was worth taking the time to fill out because they nailed everything we wanted based off of what we had told them in that sheet. Our DJ was named Michael, and he was excellent. I had told him a couple of nicknames that I had as a kid, and he used them during announcements which made everyone laugh and it was so light-hearted and fun. My dad and I had a choreographed dance, and they made it perfect. They started us off with a slow song, had kind of like a scratched record sound play, and then the fast song that we choreographed our dance to came on. The guests loved it!! He also ended the song at the correct time stamp. Our couple first dance was a bit obscure and from a musical, and they played it with no questions asked. There was only one song that they played that I didn't like, I quickly motioned to Michael, and he changed it and didn't play anything else by that artist. It was perfect and seamless. Best of all, you could understand everything that Michael was saying! Most wedding DJ's are hard to understand, but he was well spoken and concise. I would absolutely recommend this company as well as Michael specifically!

Our only complaint was the communication leading up to the wedding with Larry. After reading so many amazing reviews, we were so excited for A&A to DJ our wedding. Larry was very attentive to our wants/needs and was very thorough in his approach. Our DJ For our reception was okay, but there were several hiccups along the way. First, he did not play the specified portion of the song we requested when we walked back down the aisle…I suppose it’s a good thing we could barely hear it. The sound in the ceremony wasn’t great, but I’m willing to attribute some of that to the torrential downpour outside. Secondly, he announced the bar closing two and a half hours before it was actually due to close and refused to correct his mistake. Thirdly, he played ALL of the line dance songs in a row followed by some weird remix of Mr. Brightside. We had multiple genres checked on our sheet and it seemed like he was working his way through each genre rather than playing a good mix. The most surprising part was seeing him work with a folder full of CDs…I would recommend updating to a digital format to accommodate more requests and a better mix of songs. Lastly, the photo booth printer was broken. Now- what I will say is that April was an absolute sweetheart and communicated with us about her plan for making it right. In fact, the whole photo booth team was incredible and an absolute joy to work with. We absolutely rate them 10/10 and would recommend the photo booth to any couple considering it.
