Absolutely beautiful venue and we had great service for our whole event

We hosted our corporate holiday party here and it was great! Such a beautiful venue, and everyone loved it!

My Wife & I purchased this magnificent facility for our Daughter's wedding. My daughter loves the rustic look, and this facility perfectly matched her style. I can not express our gratitude for the Colonnade's staff, Pepper Moon Catering, DJ Johnny, Hart to Hart photograpy & Sarah:The Busy Mom Cake Shop. The Colonade's elegance, beauty, spaciousness, and facility design brought WONDEROUS JOY to all in attendance. My wife & I received many kind words from the guest of how beautiful the wedding was. My daughter deserved the very best, and The Colonnade at Revolution Mill was worth every penny. Thank You!!!!

Had our wedding at The Colonnade. The venue is beautiful with lots of character and photographs well. The one venue downside is that the space is a bit awkward in layout, so some creativity may be needed. The staff were super nice. Very attentive during the selling process, but found responses and follow-ups to be much slower during the planning process. It sometimes took days or even weeks for responses. Small details were missed which I attribute to seemingly thin staffing levels. My biggest issue was the food which was mediocre at best. We specifically selected the venue based upon food reviews, but it definitely underdelivered. A couple of examples - roasted root vegetables that tasted ok, but looked visually unappealing. It looked like all of the color had leached out of the vegetables and that they were boiled vs roasted. Absolutely no browning that you would see in roasted vegetables. Also, the risotto looked like no risotto I've ever experienced. The rice was super mushy and it looked like it was plated using an ice cream scoop which tells you a lot about the consistency. No evidence of creaminess. One guest told me it reminded them of rice-a-roni. Lots of food remained on the guests' plates which was embarrassing. Was told appetizers were tasty but cold, not even room temperature. Not too appealing for stuffed mushrooms and chicken skewers. Since good food is my #1 requirement for an event, the Colonnade would not be my go-to venue. Venue: 5/5 Staff: 3.5/5 Food: 2/5

The Colonnade at Revolution Mill is an ideal place to have a wedding in Greensboro because of the exceptional service, venue aura, and versatile space. Even if your special day is a wash out of rain, they are prepared. The staff go the extra mile to make everything perfect. They even provided a separate space for the mother of the bride to get ready.

Working with Revolution Mill Events was so stress-free and fun! They really help you make the most of this once in a lifetime experience by having events leading up to the wedding day. We always looked forward to going to their events so we could take time envisioning our wedding day in the space and trying all of the amazing food. It was also a chance to ask questions or meet different vendors, which we appreciated. The team was so nice and we loved working with them! Aimee and Ben were so great to work with because they had the answer to any question we could think of! They are so knowledgeable, helpful, and personable and it was a joy working with them. We were first drawn to The Colonnade because the venue space was so beautiful. It was very important to us to have some outdoor space because we were having a spring wedding and wanted our guests to be able to enjoy the weather. Once we toured the venue, we fell in love. We loved that the event space was completely private, something other venues we toured were lacking, and that there were so many options. We had multiple options for how to use the indoor and outdoor spaces which is something we were really looking for because we wanted to make the wedding personal. There were even multiple options for the rehearsal dinner spaces! We were able to confidently make decisions based on what we felt was best because we were able to weigh our options on how to best use the space. We also loved that it had an all inclusive feel because a lot of things could be done in house. Having Pepper Moon Catering serve the food was a huge plus for us because they had a multitude of options for food and drinks. We were also able to get tables, linens, flatware, lighting, and drapery through the venue. This significantly decreased the stress that surrounds decision making because we didn't have to go searching for things; it was already there for us if we wanted it. All of these factors made The Colonnade the easy choice for our wedding!

Very nice meeting place for a small or large group. Also, their catered food is delicious.

We absolutely loved having Revolution Mill as our wedding venue! The location is perfect for guests to enjoy Greensboro, the venue is stunning and really doesn’t require much decoration at all, there is plenty of space for the bridal party to get ready (and for the guys to hang out), and the staff are always kind and accommodating! Several of our vendors were really familiar with Revolution Mill and their staff, which made planning fairly streamlined. As for Pepper Moon Catering, our wedding was almost two months ago and we are still getting compliments on our food!

We loved our wedding at The Colonnade! We really liked how they had catering and alcohol included with use of the venue. There were also a ton of ways to customize your wedding with add-ons. We toured and booked with Ben and were handed off to Aimee for all things planning. In our experience with her she was not as responsive to emails and inquiries as I had hoped a wedding venue would be. Although this is in no way a direct reflection of the venue’s stance on the subject, from what I personally understand about the wedding industry, the justification for venues and vendors to up charge for weddings is based on the fact that you are getting above and beyond service over what you would receive for a non-wedding event, but unfortunately I do not feel we necessarily received that leading up to our wedding. Don’t get me wrong, our meetings with Aimee were great, she was organized, gave us tips and suggestions when we weren’t sure how we wanted to do something, and made sure everything came together in the end. It was just scary, especially in the few months before the wedding leading up to deadlines, requesting information from her and having to wait a week or more for a response and sometimes having to follow up multiple times before hearing anything. For comparison, all of our other vendors usually responded next day to inquiries. Luckily we did pretty much the bare minimum as far as decor, catering, rentals, etc, so there weren’t as many moving parts as, say, someone who had draping, uplighting, multiple interactive stations, rentals, and things like that. So the times we did have to wait for a response weren’t a huge deal. I have no doubt she had everything under control, it just seemed that maybe there is a need for more people in her position to relieve some of the load off her. The only thing that really went wrong on wedding day was the chairs on either side of the aisle were not positioned so that the aisle was centered on the window we got married in front of. This is not even something that was on my radar to check and I immediately noticed when while I was walking down the aisle. We did not get to rehearse at the venue so this may have been caught if we had. It just seems like something at least someone working there would have noticed if they regularly set up for weddings in that location. Now all of our ceremony pics are off center lol. Alex was our venue manager for the day of the wedding. She definitely made our lives easier, working with our coordinator and photographer to keep everything on schedule. She was more behind the scenes day of but she occasionally checked up on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. She was great to work with! Peppermoon catering was great as well. We went to multiple showcases at the venue where you get to try menu items so we knew the food was good, but we got multiple compliments from guests as well. Overall, I think I would recommend The Colonnade for a wedding, as our experience may have just been a one-off since we did have such a simple wedding, time and attention may have been allotted to other couples with more going on details wise.

My husband and I were married at The Colonnade in September and it was amazing! The team is fantastic, they made us feel comfortable by providing guidance and helping make suggestions and decisions along the way. Amy and Randy were a pleasure to work with and made our families, guests and vendors feel confident about the execution of our special day! Almost all our guest say it was the most beautiful venue they have been to for an event. The food and catering team from Pepper Moon was also great! If we could do it all over again we wouldn’t change anything about our experience with The team at The Colonnade!

Got married 6/30/22. Justin and I fell in love with the venue Feb. 2021. The team was top tier. They responded to my e-mails in a timely manner, gave great guidance on planning, and was accommodating. The best day of my life and I'm so glad we did it here! Flank steak & mashed potato bar was a hit!!!!

I cannot express how PERFECT our wedding day was thanks to the staff at The Colonnade at Revolution Mill! Our experience was seamless and amazing from start to finish. As soon as we toured the venue, we knew it was the one. They are transparent in what they offer, and they make wedding planning so much easier by helping you along the way and providing everything you could need or want the day of your wedding. Not to mention, the venue is absolutely stunning and has the perfect amount of natural lighting for all of your wedding photo dreams to come to life! The staff at The Colonnade is truly the greatest you will find. Ben was an amazing tour guide and helped us every step of the way in booking the venue. Jaime is incredibly kind, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of leading up to our big day. Pepper Moon Catering was amazing and everyone loved the food. Aimee is just amazing! She worked day and night to make sure all of our questions were answered and helped us plan every fine detail of how our special day would go (plus she is such a sweet human and so fun to work with). Never once did we feel stressed because they are so good at what they do. I can't thank you all and the whole staff enough, and I highly recommend The Colonnade for anyone getting married in the near future! It is a dream and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!!

To start off: thank you so so so much to the entire team at Revolution Mill. After having to change venues and look for almost all new vendors due to covid effecting our original 2020 wedding date, The Colonnade was one of the first places we looked into. We cannot put into words how happy we are with everything, from our first meeting with Ben, to Jaime being part of the beginning planning stages, to Aimee taking care of the rest of the planning to make our vision come true. We had hesitations originally solely because we were essentially planning an entirely new wedding. The Rev Mill events team did not disappoint. Not only is it clear that they know what they are doing and have the experience/ knowledge to prove so, they were so accommodating and professional. They really made us feel special throughout the entire replanning process, and it shows they do care. Everyone loved the venue itself, and they did an amazing job with making sure our vision made sense in the space. The catering and drinks came from Pepper Moon Catering. Everything was delicious, and everyone raved about the appetizers and buffet food. The day of staff, including Alex, made everything effortless and really allowed us to "enjoy" our day.

If you are looking for a venue in Piedmont Triad Area, look no where else. The Colonnade at Revolution Mill is the place. The venue is gorgeous with tons of natural light. The staff is incredible to work with and very professional. The event manager, Jaime is amazing and was super helpful throughout the whole process. The catering company (Pepper Moon Catering) is also phenomenal. Our wedding guests could not stop raving about how good the food was. The entire staff was very attentive and made us feel very special on our wedding day. Special shout out to our day of event manager, Aimee. She was incredible. We are so grateful we decided to get married here. Couldn't be more happier with how everything turned out.

My wife and I cannot say enough positive things about The Colonnade at Revolution Mill. From the first day all the way until the wedding, Jaime and her team were professional, attentive and world class. Jaime was always quick to respond to our emails and questions and made sure that all our requests were completed. Our wedding day was absolutely special, and our guests loved the beautiful and historic venue space. We enjoyed the wedding showcase put on by The Colonnade because it allowed us to sample the food and to see what decor and vendors we wanted for our wedding. A big advantage of The Colonnade as compared to other venues was that they took care of a lot of the heavy lifting, providing much of the equipment, supplies, services that you would need for a wedding, such as china and cutlery, wine glasses, drapes and lighting, linens, chairs, catering, and a full-service bar. The billing and quotes for our wedding were all transparent, and we felt that we paid exactly what we were quoted with no surprises. The food for our wedding was delicious and received many compliments from our guests. The wait staff were professional, and we loved having Randy as our Event Manager. He made sure that the rehearsal and wedding day themselves ran smoothly and seamlessly. We highly recommend The Colonnade at Revolution Mill for your event or wedding.
